I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. I am the daughter of immigrant parents. I was born in Kansas City, Kansas, moved to Mexico for about three years, and later to Texas where I have since lived. I am the youngest out of three children. I enjoy rock climbing with my brother and doing fun runs around Austin with my sister. I like hiking at Lost Maples in Fredericksburg with my dad. I also really enjoy getting cooking lessons from my mom. My favorite foods are the kind my mom makes, like chiles rellenos and carne con chile. I like running along Ladybird Lake while listening to some of my favorite singers like Mana and Julieta Venegas. I also enjoy reading books by authors like Herman Hesse and Kurt Vonnegut. I graduated from Hutto High School and have lived in Hutto since I was twelve years old. I feel honored to be a first grade teacher at the fabulous Ray Elementary and to give back to the community that has greatly impacted my life and helped me be the person I am today.
